Why I created this
This site started as a project for me to learn jQuery.
I have grown from there, learning more about programming methodologies, code structure, and more about other languages.
JavaScript is one of the languages I'm learning more about. Because jQuery is only a library for JavaScript, I am getting a good grasp of the language.
The next language I will learn more about (and one that I used to mess with a lot) is Ruby. I'll put that into a new project on GitHub and link to it in the coming weeks.
